Tetraethylammonium bromide related information

Tetraethylammonium bromide is white crystals. Easy to absorb moisture. Easily soluble in water, ethanol, chloroform and acetone, slightly soluble in benzene, water solubility: 2795 g/L (25°C). The pH of the 10% aqueous solution is 6.5, heated to 95°C for 28 hours without changing the pH. It is irritating. Used as a reagent for polarographic analysis and pesticide intermediates, sometimes used to test gold, iridium, palladium, rhodium and ruthenium.
